A simple brochure-type WordPress website. Advertising a 2020 Golf competition with competition information, rules and prizes. Past event gallery and videos were loaded. CTAs were placed across the website making it easy for entrants to register for this competition. This is a Divi website, built with slick styles and subtle animation elements across the pages giving this simple website a professional look and feel.
This project required a custom build for the auction pages. A special section for admin staff to enter content specific to their auctions and the ability to display it neatly on the front end. Expired auctions automatically move the the "past" section making is easy to maintain current and old content. Special PDFs for all the industry auctions were added and have the ability to scroll though or download.
The website started having issues, emails not working etc. Upon checking it out for the client I could see that the website was out of date - the theme, plugins and core all required updating. Unfortunately the theme had changed so drastically that in the update the booking calendar no longer worked. This meant a rebuild needed to happen urgently.
A simple brochure-style website for a peanut butter, honey and basting sauces reseller. The style-guide, fonts and branding were provided and translated into this website which is all about the strong visualisation and the mouthwatering display of their various products. Since it is not a direct to public sales website there is only product listing with company information and a contact form.
Using existing content, I replaced the theme, rebuilt the recipe template and recreated the home page. I split out recipes from blog posts making the website easier to use and navigate.
This is a rebuild of an existing WordPress website. A highlight of this design is the interactivity of the website. I took it from a flat and static website to a design that is modern and engaging. The colour pallete and animation give this website a depth that draws you in to content that is easily accessible.
This was an existing website with a single product page. Originally the business focus was on a specific product. However the time came to include the entire manufacturing range. Additionally a new design was required. Something fresh, easy to navigate and for wholesalers to put
Hacking is a growing concern for online businesses. As attacks adapt and become ever more sophisticated by the day, it is more important than ever to take measures to protect your website against hidden viruses and malicious software.
When I was introduced to Sarah of The Upholstery Artist (UK) it was because she was having issues with her Google Business page listing. After digging around it became clear that many elements of her website were out of date. Security and version issues here were causing problems with her Google Business page. Once my proposal was approved I set about the following...
The wonderful thing about WordPress being a content management system is that (as the name implies) all your content is stored in the database and is not (generally not always, anyway) tied to the theme. Which means switching out a theme and giving the website a refresh inside and out is generally a quick and easy job to do.
I created a new look & feel and added lots of new content. On-page SEO was a focus. All images were resized for web (small file size while keeping the images crisp and large.) His service pages, project pages all categorised in a way that beautifully showcases his work and highlights another area of interest for him: his photography. We connected his instagram account to his website home page so that it automatically updates when he does.
This is a membership-based website with 3 different membership tiers. Membership registration is captured and includes online payments. International events are listed with multi-currency and tiered payment options for both members and non-members. The website also includes member-only content and directory. There have been so many technical elements that all needed to come together for this new business website.
4 Strangers walk into a room. A client, a designer, a copywriter and a dev. We sat around a table for 8 solid hours, collaboratively spinning through perpetual rounds of brief, design & revert. By 5:30pm our client, an emerging entrepreneur from Langa, walked away with brand new CI, a new logo, business cards and a fully fledged website.
A fun, 1-page website that would fall under the "simple website" category. Simple certainly does not mean boring. It only means a concentrated one-page website with thoughtful content. Visually appealing and showcases case studies with clear CTA on every page.
This WordPress website received a complete overhaul after having been subjected to hacking and malware. The old site was cleaned up and put back to live. Further to that a completely new website was created to replace the old, compromised one. This gave the client
A stunning "simple" portfolio website that is simple in development but visually stunning, easy to navigate and the perfect resume-style portfolio website. What a pleasure to work with Jo - an easy, effortless experience with a wonderful result. - Lisa Ferguson
This existing WordPress website needed a revamp. Happily though we were able to update the site and the theme files and use those to recreate the look and feel. The benefits of this was that the team did not have to buy or learn a
