As per client brief, a travel blog has been created with a number of categories. The brief was to design the blog layout to match an exiting Magento main site so that the user has a seamless experience between the two sites, without feeling like they have left the main site. (http://www.devprom.co.za/ vs http://www.devprom.co.za/blog/).
Additionally the theme was further edited to excluding certain layout components while adding others in. Editing core theme files is generally advised against however this was all done through a child theme ensuring future updates to the WordPress theme does not result in overriding these changes.
All images were editing for site speed, resized and compressed without losing quality. The site is further benefiting from page and browser caching ensuring site speed.
Offsite backups have been created and automated to ensure that the team can always roll back in case of catastrophic website issues.
On site SEO was added, along with new a sitemap for Google indexing purposes.
The website is fully mobile responsive for tablet and mobile.
Really impressed with the feedback I was given constantly throughout the project, as well as the speed that it was completed with. Thank you again.
